I had to wait for my CD player to be repaired before I could thoroughly enjoy "Luck and Strange", and it was worth the cost. What an engrossing and wonderful experience. The whole album was great. From the first to the last track, I was immersed in a sensational aural experience.

Always enjoyed David's music, solo and Pink Floyd. Glad to see new music and that it's a family affair. Listening to Romany shows that talent does run in the family. Hope to hear more in the future.

Another outstanding solo work. Many of the songs resonate in common ground lyrically. Musically it is very much in sync with lyric. A great studio album and very much enjoyed the performance on 10 November at MSG. What a gifted musician and band.

Excellent! Well worth the wait. The music is tight and well put together. Especially nice to hear Romany Gilmour on a couple of tracks (Between Two Points is exceptional!) I would highly recommend it.

I enjoyed all the you tube videos while waiting for the CD to arrive. I listened to it a few times with distractions, so I had to put everything aside and gave it a proper beginning to end listen. And it is fabulous, well done David and team.

Been a fan of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd since the 70's . Saw them at Radio City in NYC for the Dark Side tour in the early 70's , still have the ticket stub!!! . Davids guitar work is what attracted me to Pink Floyd in the first place. Love the new album more every time i listen to it. Was not expecting that solo in Scattered the first time I heard it. Blew me away. .Every song on the album is great. Every time I listen to the album I hear something I didnt hear before. Thats what I love about his music. Cant wait to see them atMSG in November.

Like a fine wine, David Gilmour's music has improved with age. And as always, the more collaborative the effort, the greater the results. The lyrics injected by David's wife, Polly Samson relay grounded feelings and sharing vocal duties with his daughter, Romany, have let David express the inner turmoil that so many of us are feeling today due to world events. The music continues to exhibit the creative expression that traces all the way back to when he joined Pink Floyd, and the musical vignettes that he is known for, though not as psychedelic, set the stage for some very solid songs.

Ok, honest review.... The first couple tracts, I was into it, but was waiting for Mr. Gilmour, to open up. Then, it was like, oh! I see. The album/cd, whatever, kept building, sucked me in. At the end, BRAVO! I just wanted more, so, Hit repeat. Pink Floyd, my all time faves. David Gilmour, my favorite Pink Floyd talent. Dying to see Gilmour in concert.
